It felt good to be out Saturday night. I’ve been mad busy with this portfolio, so this is the first time I’ve really blessed the public with my appearance in a while. We chilled in lil 5 and we eventually ran into two of my Brooklyn homeboys(Taj and Drew). Nothing serious, but we caught a few pictures…..

CDG released some new garments for their f/w collection. It looks like a repeat from the past season in my opinion. They have some nice concepts going but I think it’s time for a new design team and new designs in general.

Murakami’s artwork is amazing, I wouldn’t mind having a few life size pieces throughout the house. One day when I have mass amounts of wealth I’ll have him create a life size version of the Ski Collection logo lol.
This golden bear is one of the nicest.
Takashi is murdering that CDG cardigan, I swear individuals from overseas have way more style than Americans lol.
I was browsing Hypebeast and I came across a interesting interview with Filip Pagowski. And for those of you who do not know who that is, he is the artist/designer that created Heart logo for the Comme des Garcons Play Collection. Here’s a few lines from the interview.
How did your relationship begin with Comme des Garçons’ Play collection? Were you familiar with Rei Kawakubo’s work before working under their commission? How did the eyed-heart character come about?
The PLAY logo happened just like that! I remember working on something, while all of a sudden not connected to anything, I got this idea of a red heart with a set of eyes. I drew it instantaneously and the first draft was it. The rest is history.
My birthday was yesterday, for all of you who didn’t know. I had a good day also, everyone called me and wished me a happy birthday, well everyone who is relevent to the earth I should say lol. I didn’t really do to much, I bought a few things and went out to eat. Here’s a picture we caught last night, it’s only one though.
