About a week ago Sierra and I took a trip to the High Museum. It was an interesting trip, they had some nice artwork and I got mad inspiration while I was there. I couldnt take any pics inside but I caught a few outside.

Awhile ago Beans posted a diary on his Naked & Famous raw denims that he was been wearing. Well I will be doing a post similar to that about my APC New Standard Jeans, titled “APC Journal.” I’ve had them for a minute but I haven’t worn them like I was suppose to, but they still look fairly nice in my opinion. It felt good to be out Saturday night. I’ve been mad busy with this portfolio, so this is the first time I’ve really blessed the public with my appearance in a while. We chilled in lil 5 and we eventually ran into two of my Brooklyn homeboys(Taj and Drew). Nothing serious, but we caught a few pictures…..

Ahh man I haven’t been on the blog in a minute. Where have I been you ask? Recently I have been working hard on my portfolio that I have to send off to FIT NYC within two weeks. In my opinion it has been coming out great, once I send it off and get it approved I’ll post pictures of a few sketches that I’ve been working on lately. And also the Winter apparel for “Abstract Ski Collection” is 90% finished. We’re just waiting on two more pieces to return from our manufacturers and we’ll start shipping off garments to retailers immediately. Well that’s about all I have to say for now, I’ll end this post off with this dope picture. That pic has given me massive amounts of inspiration throughout this design process for my portfolio.

This weekend, Tj and I dipped out to Cali to get a little vacation which we deemed very necessary. In all, Cali was ill; the shopping, the weather, the scenery, and the people were all different than the normalities back home which made it a crazy trip. Our first destination was Melrose to do some shopping which became a trip of itself LMAO!
Failing to master the gps on the rental, we took a wrong turn ending up in Inglewood. Unaware of this, we stopped at Church’s to grab something to eat. Luckily some lady was nice enough to inform us of where we were and point us in the right direction to Melrose.
Once we got to Melrose, we had to go check out the Bape store, the inside was ill but they wouldn’t let us take any pictures FTL! I copped a nice Baby milo keychain though to add to the collection.
We checked out the Johnny Cupcakes and Kid Robot stores on Melrose too but didn’t catch any pictures. We then moved up Melrose and on to Fairfax where we checked out Flight Club and Supreme, we noticed the Hundreds store at the intersection of Fairfax so we figured we’d check that out too.
Our last stop before going back to the hotel to get a nice nap was the A.P.C. store. I copped a pair of new standards and love them.
That night, Tj and i went to Hollywood and I was very disappointed. Maybe the time we went (around 11) was the eason for this. It was very congested and unappealing to me. I’ve got some pics but don’t eben feel the need to post them. We only stayed for like a half hour before going back to the hotel to get some sleep.
The next morning, we went to iHop to get some breakfast before going out to La Brea to check out a store called & Still. The concept of the store was ill and I got a nice Reds snapback but I’ll let Tj give a better explanation when he posts.
We didn’t do much after La Brea except catch something to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. After that we went back to the hotel to pack some things away and get some sleep.
Tj and I didn’t know wht we wanted to do exactly when we woke up but didn’t exactly want to just sit around and do nothing until our flight so we figured we go out to Venice Beach to take some pictures.
I was expecting Venice to just be a beach but was surprised to find some nice live music, artwork, and of course a medical marijuana evaluation center hahaha gott love Cali.
What also surprised me about Venice were all the many places that were so ideal for photography. I would definitely like to do some more photography out there one day.
After venice, we had to go to the airport to ensure we wouldn’t miss our flight. I’ll end it off with me chillen in the terminal. My name’s Ant D and it’s been real.

As you Ski heads may have realized in my last name, I have changed my name from Aj to a more proper fitting alias of Ant-D. My pop’s came up in the 80’s the time of the dookie ropes, Adidas suits, Gazelles, kangols, and high top fades not to mention that the Jordan’s being released at that time were the original J’s haha. Anyhow my pops and his crew adapted the name of the Kenyon Street posse or KSP for short, each member having their own name, my dad being Ant- D. I feel the need to take on this personna and complete its full potential therefore when you see me in the street address me as Ant-D or D for short.
