Never See Me Out Cause I Live In My Workplace

Ahh man I haven’t been on the blog in a minute. Where have I been you ask? Recently I have been working hard on my portfolio that I have to send off to FIT NYC within two weeks. In my opinion it has been coming out great, once I send it off and get it approved I’ll post pictures of a few sketches that I’ve been working on lately. And also the Winter apparel for “Abstract Ski Collection” is 90% finished. We’re just waiting on two more pieces to return from our manufacturers and we’ll start shipping off garments to retailers immediately. Well that’s about all I have to say for now, I’ll end this post off with this dope picture. That pic has given me massive amounts of inspiration throughout this design process for my portfolio.

Keep My Fendi When It’s Time To Roam

This Picture is mad dope to me. I don’t care what anybody says, Fendi is my favorite Luxury label alongside with Chanel and MCM. And for some reason, lately I’ve been fascinated with pictures like the one below. I took a another dope pic like this while I was in Cali, I’ll post it soon.

Sa-Ra Live In Paris

This weekend Taz Arnold and his group Sa-Ra performed in Paris for the “Free Your Funk” event. It seemed like a fun event to attend. The one thing that I like about Taz Arnold and his Ti$a movement is that he looks like he always has fun everywhere he goes. By the way does anybody know when a new Sa-Ra album is dropping? But anyways here’s some pictures from the performance.

Taz killed this fit. I need one of those MCM raincoats asap, especially before I go to fashion week in London.

Due To The Bad Weather….

Lately it has been raining a lot, and this would be a perfect time to bring out one of those Ti$a MCM raincoats. I personally would go with the blue joint, and throw on a Ski Club logo tee on underneath. Hopefully when I go out to Cali on Friday I’ll be able to find a spot that has some Ti$a MCM pieces in stock, because they have none down here and I can’t find any of the pieces online.

Now that I notice the Cognac joint is nice too. Pictures like this give me inspiration when I design because Taz’s style is dumb creative.

All I Wanna Kno Is…

“Can I Get You Hi Babyyyy!” I came across this video of Taz Arnold and his group “Sa-Ra” performing their single “Can I Get You Hi?” They have a unique group because they don’t look like another group that’s out now. And btw Taz killed that fit with the MCM Jacket,Ti$@ Obama snapback, and the Stephen Sprouse tights.

Uptown,Downtown,Switzerland!

Yesterday Me,Ant and Beans went around the city. If was an interesting day, we made a few business negotiations, had a 30 minute conversation about fashion with the two employees in the Fendi store, and took some ill pictures. It was a nice day out, so I had to throw on the CDG with the Griffey’s. But here’s the photography that we took.

And btw the Murals in Lil 5 is bananas. Especially this joint, I think I might have to use that Mario joint in the Summer ’10 collection!

After that we headed over to Vinnies, If you ever in Lil 5 stop by there, they dumb cool.

And the MCM cushions they have on display are ill. lol at me asking them if I could buy one of them.

Then we left Lil 5 and continued our voyage to Phipps, No Lenox though. Lenox has been exposed to to many people lol. We didn’t any pics inside Phipps but we did have an interesting conversation with the Fendi clerks. IF your ever in the Saks in Phipps make sure you stop by and check out the Chanel mini store, the way it’s designed is crazy. Next time I’ll take pics. But I’m Out though I’ll end this with a highway pic of The Varsity.

Hood.

As you might know, Taz Arnold has desinged the first detachable hood to be worn with anything. I’m kinda late on posting this but it came into my mind today to so I decided to post it. But anyway me and Ant were talking about fashion and style earlier and he said he would style in one of those MCM detachable hoods. As soon as he gets his hands on one (no homo) I’ll post pics on the blog asap lol. But here’s pics of the hoods if you dont know what im talking about.

They are kinda ill though, but I dont think I would rock, or would I? The World may never know! lol

New MCMxTi$A collection

This collection looks nice. I feeling the red this time, I have to find a way to cop a piece from this collection, cause I missed out last time around. MCM needs to start selling their RTW collections in th flagship store in New York.

Call it a Comeback!

About a month ago I was reading the Worth The Weight blog and I noticed that she blogged about the MCM brand. I recently researched the brand I found out the fall line was actually a collab between Ti$a, the Japaneese brand Phenomenon, and the european leather brand MCM. My mom told me that they use to rock MCM back  in the late 80’s and the 90’s, and that I had a few pieces when I was little. I wish I still had them only in my size now lol. But be on the lookout for MCM, their pieces will cost you some change, but it’s definietly worth the money that your going to pay for it.

And btw I hope we get to do a collab with MCM one day, that would be crazy!
